With only a few weeks left until Christmas you will probably have started to think about what to buy friends/family/secret santa recipients. I’ve got a great range of gift guides for you this year including gifts for her, him, foodies and stocking fillers.
Some of the items in this gift guide will have their own review which will be linked within the post.
Olverum Bath Oil – £19.00
First up is probably my favourite product this season, so much so that I had to go out an buy a full size bottle after trying this. Olverum is a bath oil but not just any bath oil, it not only provides the most amazing scent in the bathroom, all stress and aches just seem to melt away. It’s a unisex product although I’ve included it in my gift guide for her, what you could do is include it in a his & hers hamper.
Spectrum Noir Colorista – From £4.99
These are the perfect gift for crafters new and old and of course for those who want to try something different. The card kits come in high quality card, some with gold foil and the pencils and markers are some of the best I’ve tried, allowing you to blend and shade without any bleeding through the paper.
Novella Nostalgia Series by Tony Dury – £5.99 each
Who doesn’t love a gift of books? The Novella Nostalgia series by author, Tony Drury is the perfect gift for those literary lovers. Forever On Thursdays is the latest story to be published as part of Tony Drury’s enticing Novella Nostalgia series which links iconic cinema classics with modern stories.
Apples & Pears Mug – £9.50
This beautiful apples and pears design china mug would make the perfect gift for any retro lovers, it would also make the perfect gift for the office secret santa.
7th Heaven basket – £9.99
This big basket of beauty treats is perfect for the person who is in need of a pamper and some ‘me time’. Containing Pom Pom, Bath Bombs, Dead Sea Mud Pac, Passion Peel off Mask, Hot Chocolate Mask, , Manuka Honey Peel off Mask, Avocado Oil Mask, Cucumber Peel off Mask, Very Berry Mask, Acai Body Smoothie Sachet, Pulped Papaya Hair Masque and Fresh Feet Foot Sachet, the recipient will love this.
Coffee Pot Art Print – £10.00
This two-colour risograph print of a French enamel coffee pot will make a wonderful gift for anyone this Christmas. Louise’s prints vary from print to print, making each one unique in texture and depth of colour.Limited edition of 50, signed and numbered
Tangle Angel – £12.95
The Tangle Angel is the perfect gift this year for women of all ages and what I love about this is that it can be used with heat up to 120 degrees which means you can use it as you dry your hair. The brush works on both wet and dry hair and speaking as someone with hair that tangles very easily I adore this brush.
Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rosé mini champagne – £12
Perfectly sized at 20cl these mini champagne bottles make the perfect gift not only as a main gift but as part of a hamper or in a stocking.
Solid Copper photo – £19.00
What better way to display a loved photograph of a child/pet/important day than having it displayed in beautiful copper. The metal has a brushed finish which is printed directly onto, so your photos will look great. The prints are waterproof and highly scratch resistant too.
You can add personalised text underneath the image as well as having the option to add a message to the bottom of the product, this is great for gifting occasions or simply adding information about the image.
Who doesn’t like to unwrap a beauty product at Christmas? I love lots of little things like pore strips, body cream, facial pads and moisturiser.
Sensse Hot and Cool ultrasonic facial toner- £39.99
This is a great device for the beauty lover who has everything. I really like to use this on an evening as part of my routine. The heat mode heats up quickly and is a pleasant warmth, I use a light cream with this setting. (It’s actually quite hand when you have a headache too). The cool mode is very refreshing, and draws out puffiness.
*all products are sent to me as samples from brands and agencies unless otherwise stated.

Since taking on my allotment a couple of weeks ago I have spent a small fortune on beautiful seeds, planters and equipment to make my garden look the best that it possibly can. Choosing beautiful things for a garden is not an easy task as there is so much choice available whether you are buying for yourself or for a gift.
I know a lot of my friends and family will be buying me garden related gifts for Christmas and Birthdays for the foreseeable future and I myself will be buying token gifts for some of my new gardening friends. When you take on an allotment you also take on a whole new community of friends who are always eager to lend a helping hand or offer advice and it can be nice sometimes to say thank you for all of the help.
I’ve put together this little guide featuring some of my favourite items available at the time of writing which I hope will provide some inspiration when you need the perfect gift for a gardener not just at Christmas time but any time.
Backdoorshoes are a pretty awesome product and perfect for leaving at our back door as the name suggests or even leaving in your shed when you pop to the allotment. The shoes are very lightweight at only 200g a pair, waterproof and machine washable which is great when you’re working in muddy conditions. Ladies shoes are available in UK Sizes 3-8, Mens shoes available in UK Sizes 8-13.
I bought a similar Bee and Bug house for my Aunts birthday in October, I love the idea of this house from Greenhouse Sensation as it attracts solitary bees which will pollinate plants, ladybirds and lacewings which will prey on garden pests like aphids and red spider mite. As a gardener who grows flowers and vegetables and hopes to have chickens in the future I feel this would be a perfect gift for the allotment.
As the weather gets colder there is nothing better to improve a gardeners day than a nice hot flask of soup or coffee. This Orla Kiely flask is perfect for a nice mid morning treat after a hard morning spent digging the garden.
Hands are often the last thing that comes to mind when you think about a gardener but in reality hands are the most important tool a gardener has so it pays to look after the
This handy mug from Heathcote & Ivory contains a cleaning hand wash, hand cream
Enriched with Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Pathenol to nourish hands and help strengthen nails after a rewarding day spent digging and planting and nail brush to remove all traces of dirt from inside of the nails.
Finally we have this hardwearing garden apron that’s full of pockets and pouches, perfect for carrying your tools and trowels while gardening. Available from John Lewis it’s a garden must have in my opinion.
I hope this post has showed you that gardening is not just all about spades and forks, gardening gifts can be quirky, fun, useful and pretty so don’t be afraid to buy an awesome gift for the gardener in your life. They will love it!
Disclaimer: I wasn’t asked to talk about any of the brands or products in this post, I did it because I love them.
