The Little Black Dress has been tried and tested for decades and always in fashion, the wardrobe essential has been the go to dress for glamorous women all over the globe. I would always pick a black dress over any other colour as it can be styled up or down with minimal effort.
Coast feel like the Little Black Dress has a legacy worth celebrating and they wanted to pay tribute with an amazing competition that asks bloggers to show their skills as stylists!
There were three dresses to choose from and my personal favourite was the Roxy priced at £145. I picked this dress because I like to get value for money from my clothes, a dress that can suit a variety of occasions is a selling point for me and I believe that this dress fits in with that requirement.
I decided to style this outfit with accessories that could be worn for the races, a wedding or a christening. Certain elements like the hat could be removed so that the outfit could be worn for dinner or the theatre.
The Floral veiled hat £130 has been designed for Coast by the award winning milliner, William Chambers. I find the hat truly stunning and perfect for occasion wear.
The Ali Shoe £90 is the accessory that my look is based around, I love the pearl detail and decided to use this to tie the whole outfit together.
The Qinta Pearl Clutch £65 is just the right size for a mobile, lipstick and bank card, the nude tone pearls give this back an elegant look which will look perfect with a LBD.
The Cynthia Bracelet £30 and Cynthia Necklace £38 finish the look off by tying together the hat, shoes and bag.
I hope you will agree that this is the perfect summer occasion outfit.
