Money and Samples

Madame Gourmand Lifestyle is a for-profit blog which means that money is made to help with the maintenance of the site.  I accept cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions.  I will and do accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organisations.  Advertising is often in the form of adverts in the sidebar and sometimes sponsored posts (these are always disclosed in the post).  I sometimes use affiliate links (magazine.co.uk and Ebay)which means if you make a purchase following some of the links I will receive a very small percentage of that. These links are only for brands and items I recommend.

It will always be made clear in a post if I have received an item free of charge or have been paid to write an article as a footnote will be displayed at the bottom of a post.

I do not, and never have, posted positive reviews in exchange for product or other incentives.  If a post is sponsored it will be clearly marked as such.
