Hello and welcome to Madame Gourmand’s Lifestyle blog, My name is Daniella and I currently live in Warwickshire UK although I’m originally from Newcastle upon Tyne. I’m mum to Lucie who is 15 and Arthur who is 3 (born in March 2013).

I am a Freelance Writer and have been a Virtual Assistant for the past 10 years. I spend a large chunk of my time working with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) I’m the branch co-ordinator and editor of the Warwickshire Central Branch New Additions newsletter.

I’m a qualified Complementary Therapist (FdA Complementary Therapy) and Psychotherapist (Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy) and have a huge interest in various forms of holistic therapy.

I trained as a Silversmith at Sunderland University and spent 3 years running a successful Jewellery business before returning to education.  I have over 10 years experience working as a product reviewer and mystery auditor which prompted me to start this blog.

 I have a very varied education, my first degree was in Natural Science which I started back in 1998 , I then completed an HNC in design and innovation, A diploma in fashion design and continued back to science with a Diploma in Clinical Science.  In 2012 I completed my Diploma in Applied Science at Northumbria University.
